“Bias”

"Biased." Written by Shao Masula for SubSelfie.com.

Biased daw.

Paano? We feed you quality shows, and then what? Wala masyadong nanonood. The ratings, likes and shares show. When we think of topics that sell:  food, pets, sex, and violence. True story.

Pinaghihirapan namin ang mga balita. We strive to get all sides and facts.

Yes, the mainstream media has the tendency to make news events controversial and clickbait.

Many times we have tried to give the audience what they “need” but these programs eventually died because the audience still choose to watch what they “want.” That’s why there is this running joke among my colleagues: “Maiintindihan ba ‘yan ni Aling Barang?”

TV networks are indeed businesses. They need to earn to sustain the production, thus the need to capture the audience. How?

Biased din naman ang audience for choosing what they want to watch and hear, hindi ba? And there’s nothing wrong with that.

The public deserves to see and know these things.

Kaso may manonood o magbabasa ba?

I know where you’re coming from but to those who don’t really care bec their minds are all made up and follow someone blindly, all media will still be biased if it contradicts their own belief even if you are telling it plainly, scholarly, in all honesty and truthfulness and matching proof and evidences. Baka murahin ka pa or worst i-tag ka for liquidation (which I fear the most specially when commenting on FB. BUT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IF YOU BELIEVE IN THE NEWS THAT NEED TO BE TOLD AS IT IS. SIX YEARS IS A LONG BATTLE TO RECLAIM THE HUMANITY WE CAN ALL LOSE IF NOBODY LIKE YOU WILL CONSTANTLY TELL THIS PRINCIPALITIES AND SPIRiTUAL FORCES FROM THE UNDERWORLD THAT PLAGUES OUR SOCIETY TODAY. GOD BLESS YOU.
