A 28-year-old model and managing director of a fashion company in Seoul, Korea bested 23 delegates worldwide to win as the Man of the World 2023 that advocates Masculinity with Responsibility at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Makati City on June 16.

Mr. Korea Jin Wook Kim stood out as the new pageant king. He also won three special awards: Best in Beachwear, Best in Formal Wear, and Mister Congeniality.

“Money is essential for our life. The important thing is we have to think about what is more important, so just not chasing money and think about happiness and family we can be happy more than money,” said Kim during the final question and answer round when asked about his thoughts on the biblical passage: Love of money is the root of all evil.

Henry Wong of Hong Kong landed as first runner-up, James Reggie Vidal of the Philippines became second runner-up, Robert Alexander Espaillat of Puerto Rico placed third runner-up, and Lam Kim Khanh of Vietnam won as fourth runner-up.

Meanwhile, Jeremias Toco (Angola), Honza Balšán (Czech Republic), Jonathan Liaw (Malaysia), Henry San (Myanmar), and Bishal Katwal (Nepal) made it in the top 10.

Completing the top 17 were Elvis Duarte (Cape Verde), Alex Soto (Cuba), Alexander Joseph-Ojiavor (Nigeria), Tavis Lee (Singapore), Cristian Arteaga (Spain), Tyler Vincent Gaumer (USA), and Omar Riera (Venezuela).

Kim became the second Korean to bring home the crown after Jin Kyu Kim who won the title in 2019.
